Studios and Facilities · Management Forum 2027 · 8–9 June · Cape Town, South Africa
About the forum
Engineering, operations and facilities, in Cape Town.
2027 theme
Building, running and future-proofing broadcast facilities
Behind every broadcast and production sits a physical operation: studios, control rooms, master control, transmission sites, data centres and archives. Running them well is becoming harder and more expensive. Energy costs and supply problems, ageing SDI infrastructure, the move to IP and cloud, remote and distributed production, cyber threats and shrinking capital budgets are all forcing facility and engineering leaders to rethink how studios are built, maintained and used.
The Studios And Facilities Management Forum 2027 brings together heads of engineering, operations and facilities from broadcasters, production houses and studio operators in Cape Town, with the technology, systems integration and energy partners who serve them. The Forum is focused squarely on practical decisions: when to refurbish and when to rebuild, how to phase an IP migration, how to cut energy bills, and how to keep facilities secure, compliant and earning.
